Curator Fatoş Üstek discusses the challenges of putting 50 exhibitions on in 50 weeks for the groundbreaking fig-2 exhibition in the ICA Studio

Curator Fatoş Üstek is the driving force behind one of the most ambitious contemporary art exhibitions of 2015. The fig-2 art show in the ICA Studio space revives the tried and tested formula of White Cube owner Jay Jopling and curator Mark Francis’s fig-1, which hosted 50 exhibitions in 50 weeks at the ICA, London back in 2000.
